Though the title of this song comes from an H.P Lovecraft story the lyrics are only loosely based on the content itself. This song is another self contained horror story focused on an individual set to bring about the world's demise through enacting the will of Cthulhu. Much like Lovecraft I chose the title because I "liked then ring of it", to quote the man himself.
